“Volunteers, artists and people who purchase tickets help promote and raise vital funds for local causes. Championing the vast pool of talent on our island has enabled us to substantially reduce our impact on the environment. We recycle and reuse the majority of materials with which we build our festival and our aim is to expand this to all the waste used across our festival site. We hope to inspire more people to value the resources available in Jersey, to celebrate creative artists and to think about the responsibility we have to preserving the natural beauty of our island for us all to enjoy.”

Acorn Enterprises - Acorn Enterprises is a registered charity and the trading arm of the Jersey Employment Trust, with the intention to provide employment, employment training, work experience and voluntary work for people with a disability and long term health condition. There are currently two areas to the business at Acorn; A horticultural nursery and the Woodshack recycled timber. The Acorn Nursery and Acorn Woodshack are now well established. The newest exciting development is the establishment of the Acorn Reuse Centre. This is a social enterprise, involving the collection of goods from our depot, located at the La Collette Household Reuse and Recycling site. Donated goods are taken to Acorn, cleaned and reconditioned where necessary, and sold. Acorn.org.je

National Trust for Jersey - The Trust seeks to champion and protect the distinctive qualities of Jersey so that it remains at the very heart of Island life. They will do this through vigilance, sustainable management and by promoting and increasing awareness of the value of the countryside and historic environment to our economy. Grève de Lecq Barracks is the only surviving barracks left on the north coast of the Island. An excellent example of a self-contained military unit, the barracks retains many original features, including two prison cells and the ablutions block. Nationaltrust.je
